2001 Rock Shox Judy XC Problem

Afternoon,

I've recently bought some judy xc's off eBay as a project really. At the moment the forks aren't moving at all not even when i push down on them. As such I haven't been able to remove the uppers from the lowers. I'm now wondering if what I'm doing is correct.

I've removed the top caps. Then loosened the two 5m Allen bolts at the bottom of the fork and then tapped with a hammer. One seemed to go up into the fork so I assume thats disloged something. However, I then tried to remove the lowers from the uppers but nothings moving.

Have I missed anything or does anyone have any suggestions, is there any allen bolts inside the forks I need to undo?

Had another go tonight and hit them a bit harder. It worked!

Just have to clean them up and put them back together.

Ok, Good news I got the uppers away from the lowers. However now I'm trying to put them back together again and its getting stuck half way. Looking inside I can see another bushing. Any ideas on how to get the stancions past its?
