Great bike! I bought one off eBay in 2002 for only $750. It was built up to just about full XTR: shifters, derailleurs, brakes, cranks & BB, hubs, QRs. The guy at a bike shop said it was totally “Gucci’d out”. Rode it a ton for a few years, then broke the frame at the TT/ST junction, found another barely used identical frame on eBay and built it back up in 2005. Then I rode it some more and sold the bike to a friend in 2010. Then it went through a couple more friends and I JUST bought it back from one of them! It’s definitely a lot more used up but I look forward to riding it again!
