Long story short we picked this up in Portales, NM two summers ago. I got it off the side of the road for $10. We were on our way to Michigan and I ordered tires, tubes, spoke wrench and fixed it when we got there. The bike had been fantastic and has been rode in Chicago, Upper Michigan, Colorado, and Texas. I have three more kids to pass this down to and it needs to be solid for another 7 years give or take. I just put new v brakes on it and have fresh cables on the way. Thats when I noticed this wobble. Whats the play here? Is it a bent axel? What kind of wheels will work? Can I swap over to skewers? I would like to keep it under $100. The bike will see light duty offroad and paved trails. I know just enough about bikes to be dangerous and appreciate the help. Links to what you would order would be great. I don't mind used either. If I could save some weight that would be a bonus for the kids.
