2000 Specialized S-Works FSR DH

Added another bike to the collection, one that I have always wanted and I'm pretty sure most people into retro dh bikes would like to own.

It came with an array of average parts on it, apart from the forks but I didn't take a picture before I stripped it, after I did I just threw a set of forks I have and 2 mismatched deemax I also have as spares.
Then I completely stripped it as you can see, im going to get it vapor blasted, fresh powder and decals even if I have to make them myself as they are coming off very easily. New bearings and 1 new shock bolts as the lower one is slightly bent.

Not to much to report so far on this one, bike is completely stripped and i am trying to get all the decals off to get them replicated as the ones i've seen are not 100% which just messes with my OCD.

Also trying to figure out what powdercoat colour was used or the closest thing to it as its a white with a pearl through it.

Oh and I need a new shock as somehow the one I have is still holding oil and air but is in a very bad way not sure what the last owner was up to!

I don't even know where to start with this one, basically I took 2 broken and battered Fox RC shocks to NSDynamics with the intention of of making 1 ok working shock for a current project.
Aaron said he had me covered but when he sent me some photos of what he had actually done I was blown away by the workmanship and attention to detail!
With some left over NOS parts and a lathe he has turned what I was expecting to be a very average shock into something that looked like its just come straight out of the factory riders team truck!

Little update I managed to buy another FSR yep so know i have 2 is that greedy ? I also visited the UK over Christmas and bought home some parts for the build.

That is greedy, you should sell one to me. I keep thinking an Intense M1 should be my next build until you update this thread - then I remember how much I want one of these...
