Retro Newbie
I found this 2000 rockhopper frame in a free pile. It’s in poor cosmetic shape, plenty of scratches, no cracks or anything serious. I have been wanting to build a Mtb up for my girlfriend for a while. Of course it’s going to be a retro rider cobbled together of cool old parts. I had a ‘92 trek 970 lying around that I had build up a few years ago, but I never rode much. I much prefer my ‘94 rockhopper or my ‘01 Gary fisher 29er. So, time to swap the parts over from the trek. The v-brakes, LX M570 group, and thomson parts should look more age appropriate.
