I'm in the process of purchasing a 2000 Specialized FSR Team DH to replace one that was stolen earlier this year. The person I'm buying from is a little guy compared to me, so I know I will need to swap out the spings.
I talked to Manitou today and they say they no longer stock the springs for it. Anyone have any idea where I might be able to find stiffer springs for a 190lb rider, other than just watching ebay and craigslist?
Short of that does anyone know the specs for the springs? The owner's manual online doesn't give a lot of detail about them. If I can't buy a set, I would like to be able to have them fabricated if I knew what to ask for.
<edit: Found one piece of information - I need an 8inch 110lb coil, but also need to change out the MCU>
