Not sure if this is Retro enough to qualify as a true Retro Bike. And I must admit that, depsite seeing Retro Bike in MBR magazine on numerous occassions, I've only just discovered the Retro Bike website :oops: Anyway I've just finished rebuilding my Isis so here it is (along with a blog I've been doing for the last year).

very nice. never seen one of these, the tubing looks 'space' like :D
Cheers ;)

Yes, the tubing on the main part of the frame is quite unusual. To be honest I thought the bike was a bit ugly when I first saw it. I guess I was used to seing more conventional front triangle designs. It really grew on me though & at the time it was getting rave reviews, which lead to my decission to buy one. I posted a scan of the original review I saw, from the Spring 2000 issue of 'What Mountain bike', in my blog. Here's a link;

Awesome bike, I've got an Ellsworth Joker (essentially the same) and I absolutley love it, and I used to be anti full-sus!

I've got a spare Joker frame aswell, they are great frames!

Good to hear from a fellow Isis/Joker rider ;)

Are you interested in selling the spare frame you have? Someone PM'd me on the Bike Radar forum asking if they knew where they could get there hands on one. I told them keep an eye on e-bay as they sometimes do come up on there.

Okay. Let me know how much if you are interested & I'll pass it on to the guy that contacted me on Bike Radar ;)

Now that it's finished I've been getting some local rides in for testing & setting up. Going good so far ;)
