Hadn't seen this thread before.
I'd even suggested this as a BOTM theme.....
No rhyme or reason why my collection has ended up with x2 of exactly the same bike but it has!
The 2nd Aluminum "O" came about because I didn't want to alter my original one but wanted to try out some stuff. Acquiring a 2nd and building slightly differently was my preferred option. This has become my go to retro rider.
The 2nd Endeavour came about due to feeling it needed rescuing because of it's rarity. The original is Catalogue spec.....the 2nd almost the same but with thumb shifters to replace the awful campagnolo bullet shifters. Both are garage queens.......I've got other bikes I ride instead. If the cost of Campagnolo wasn't so prohibitive.... I would have probably rescued a 3rd! - for absolutely no reason at all other than a passion project. You don't make money restoring retro.
