Wanted 1x groupset for under a £100

Want to restomod my s’bike so thought I’d go down this road. Anyone have a 1x groupset (8-9-10 speed) at about deore level for a £100? I don’t mind about brand, SRAM, shimano, microshift etc.

Yeah just that pretty much I’d say.

What sort of ratios are you after cassette and ring wise? I've just taken my son's bike apart as I sold the frame he'd outgrown and had a full build to replace it with. If what I took off doesn't suit (deore gearing) I've planty of other bits in the stash.

Well for the front ring id like somewhere around 30t and don’t really mind about range on cassette as I’ll mostly be riding on flat and I usually don’t change gear going uphill because of *Jeremy clarkson voice* power!! What model deore?

Off the top of my head I can't remember but I'll check in the morning. I've also got some zee, x9, x0, xtr in 10x, maybe slx and xt, but that may be 11x.

Thanks. It should be about deore/x9 level as the bike was pretty low spec but will look at anything that might match.

Cheers I’ll look at Ian’s stuff first but I’d be looking for the newer or older style of deore.

Hi mate, I've a Deore 10sp mech, shifter and cassette advertised for £70, I haven't got any cranks for sale at the moment though. That XT 10sp stuff looks great I'd go with that personally but I've attached some photos of what I have
