1999 Sunn BMIX , ladybird style! ...

Time to start another build. Maybe I will finish one eventually :roll:
But, I now have space having gained a spare room that can be mostly for my bikes and spares. :xmas-big-grin:

Picked this up recently. It was mostly original, but some parts no good.
A strip/respray/custom build is on the cards.

Last three on eBay have gone really cheap! £34 last week!

Hope it had original forks?

that is one absolutely great project! That similarities in the front and rear dropout style are just sweet. Moreover, it is enjoyable to look at the non-drilled fork bridge! I would vote for a more mtb-alike build concept with flat bars, longish stem and straight seat post, though :xmas-big-grin: .

Any progress on this? If it were mine I'd build it BMX style as it was designed to be used with a short BMX stem and all the details like the dropouts, stays, US BB shell, fork etc. are straight from their BMX range.

24 or 26 inch wheels?

Was originally 26" so assume it will be same?

Yes it will be 26" wheels. I have the original hubs, which will need a rebuild onto some new rims. Got the original stem and bars too, but might go a different route.
It was all original apart from saddle, grips, tyres, pedals and front brake.
