1999 Saracen Blitz Value?

I’ve recently been looking into retro Saracen bikes recently and wondered if my old Saracen Blitz would be worth anything if I renovate it? It still works fully but is it worth repainting to re-sell?

Sadly it'll not be worth much, it's functional but low end kit. No point spending anything as you won't make it back. If it rides Ok, then give it a clean and a polish, stick an old seat on it and pop it on ebay or a selling platform for £50 or so and it could be a good Christmas present.

On the plus side, that looks like an original Hope seat quick release and if it is then you could see about £20 or so (or possibly more) for it as they are pretty sought after.

Sadly, he's right. Saracen were trading on their past glories by this point and turning out some pretty mediocre / horrible bikes tbh.

Its really not worth spending a penny on. Wash, oil, sell.
