1999 Kona Explosif Humu - Potential project idea.

Ok, so I'm bored and a little drunk. I'm thinking, take my 1999 Kona Explosif and have a framebuilder convert it into a Humu by adding the frame cross member tube using new Reynolds 853.

There you go, a new potential project is born.

100% do it. I'm not sure what the humu was made of but pretty sure if it was on the range it would be a lava dome ranking. So 100% do it. Seen someone else do it with a singular I think, looked cool

Love a second top tube almost as much as a second sausage roll

Go for it, I just did a second toptube on a Genesis Latitude frame but don’t seem to have taken any photos of it since finishing it.

Could get the dropouts changed to sliders too so you can run it ss or gears if that’s your bag.

Second tt might get in the way of getting a bottle in and out of a cage if it’s a smaller frame.
