Always wanted a bike that could do most things.
This one has had all sorts of things done to it, it has had 130mm bombers on it , judy sl, rst xmo(nice :D ) and now I have decided to keep it as it is.

Full xt right through and magura brakes. what more can I say?!

Ill be building up some hope hubs onto some fir imp rims ive got kicking around but thats it for her now.

The girlfriend loves taking it on the cycleways as " its pretty and feels nice....." women...

I have a shorter stem to go on it and I know what you mean about the seatpost....

The seatpost looks a bit clumsy, especially with that seat. You should fit an old azonic or worldforce stem!!

the seat is an old friend.....

Its there more for practicality than for the looks.

Anything that stops me from bleeding is a good thing!!

Thats true... it has to both practice and it has to look good :)

I´ve got one hanging in the garage wall, I gave it to my son´s mum but she hasn´t bothered to take it yet. I didn´t think it could be considered as retro  . My own bike is another Kona Chute but a more modern version, it´s original colours where green an black. Anybody knows what year it is?
