1999 Kona Chute Hope Disc Conversion Issues

I don't have a pic but it's all sorted now.

The front was, as suggested, 180mm because it was the Mono Mini and not the Mini. I did try a 175mm because even the 180mm initially looked too high in the caliper but that just dropped the disc was too low.

The rear ended up being a 180mm too. It should have been a 160 but because of the incorrect mount it seems to have shifted it up 20mm. Again - tired the 175mm because it looked close but that dropped it down way too much.

So it's 180/180 for me!

Well there we go. Glorious day to properly test ride the new brakes so I drove down to FoD and had a blast.

The fork DEFINITELY needs work. Big hits it does not like but on a really flowy trail like the downhill blue (Launchpad and ??) it’s bloody amazing. Brakes worked nicely too.

Had a couple of guys stop comment on the Chute too love that the retro rides still get the attention. Both guys said it was great to see it still out riding too.
