I feel I should know this , as ride a Bontrager OR & RaceLite … are the headsets on these late Trek vintage privateers still 1”, or had they moved to 1 1/8” by then.

Really cool bike…could easier to sell as frame only ? GLWS

I ride Bontrager size L & XL so unlikely for me … but interesting to know 1 1/8” , and retrobike vibes aside these late edition Trek era frames are really under appreciated & nicely engineered (IMHO)

TBH, I think it's more likely your location is the biggest issue. That's a good deal at £250.

If you’re stateside (Seattle) I’ve got a 19” bar bike version for free.
‘97 - 1” head tube and cable stop for cantilever on the rear.
Might keep the limp dick stem since they are funny.
