Hello! I'm trying to get into road biking (coming from a mountain biking background) and need help finding a good bike. I have my eyes on a used 1998 Trek 5200 Carbon biking with a full ultegra groupset (ultegra 6500), Rolf Vector comp wheels, and a Cateye computer. The bike is my size and it looks to be in great condition. But my question is if it is wise to ride a bike this old daily and for the foreseeable future (planning on riding on the same bike for years). The seller is selling it $450.
