1998 Specialized Stumpjumper

I've been lurking on this forum a while, and after moving about 6 months or so ago, I've finally reclaimed this bike from my parents' garage.

Finally after a year, I know what I've got!

About a year ago I picked up this exact bike during yet another trade and now I know what year it is. Is yours stock and if so could you send me the specs (simple will do)? Thanks and nice ride, soon mine will be like it!!

I'm afraid it's not anywhere near stock - built it up from the frame a few years back.

I'm not making any apologies for this, I like it the way it is

And they're awesome, I believe the '98s are the last of the USA built ones - hope you get on well with yours

The forks are Pace RC31s, and Mango was clearly the best colour

very orange

mine is paler than yours! built up from the frame, a deal back when totnes's top bike shop was in the high street, 1998/9. still goes out on dry days.
