1998 Parkpre pro 825 build spec?

touch up the paint ;)

as I mentionned , was wondering if any other frame maker such as sunn was using Fuji Stout Light between 95 an 2000

seems yours has ! very rare find

but what is weird is the shape of the downtube - not at all like the 97 till 99 sunn ones ( revolt in 97 and 98 and urge in 99)
resemble the later columbus triangular tubing that scapin used beg of the 2000's

what is the weitght of the frame ?

I don't have accurate enough scales, but I think the previous owner mentioned around 2.2kg maybe a little less? I was thinking of using some automotive rust preventer inside the tubes as I have some at home, do you think this will have any consequences during the Prep work if I do get it sprayed down the track? Or should I just go with linseed oil?

This frame is one of the last ones to come out of Parkpre USA before they folded. Good to see a late example of this brand

V. interesting example.

Looks like nothing else we've seen on Retrobike before.'

Please leave as is. Or at the very least, get the graphics on file first.

I am going mad or was it Baracuda that had similar triangular downtubes?

So did Stevens (though not so well known in the UK) and a few other brands.

So, could all these different bikes with a similar triangular downtubes be made by one Taiwanese manufacturer then marketed as different brands.

Firstly thanks for the info guys.

Did some poking around and found some more info. Firstly it looks as if the Columbus triangular tubes may have been supplied to a few frame manufactures, they are an Italian company by the way. Fuji stout light info seems scarce, but a few frames seemed to have used it. This company: http://www.commerce.com.tw/modules.php? ... D=A0002098 uses both of sorts of tubes, maybe they are the manufacture........
