1998 B17, 17". rolling project and rideable but in need of finishing or use for parts?
Spec includes:
1x10 drivetrain (on one narrow wide 30t, sram 10s shifter (new), sram pg1050 cassette (11-36), 10s chain
Original RST Hi5 forks stanchions excellent, really smooth and bushes good but lower legs cosmetically challenged!
Diatech Aheadset (original)
Shockworks piggyback shock (adjustable rebound)
Worldforce bars (tatty)
Currently on V brakes but front wheel and fork have disc mounts
Other parts are a bit of a mixed bag and nothing glamorous
To complete the bike will require:
Sram 10s rear mech ( sram X4 currently fitted but of course not compatable with 10s sram shifter though surprisingly most of the gears do select)
The swingarm torque tube i think has a very small crack - on the weld, a common fault i beleive. I have ridden it for a good while in various build specs and it has never enlarged. I'd rather be honest than pretend its not there. Please see pic. Ideally if you could pick up another swingarm with the later type disc mount this would be a win win, as the current disc mount is the obscure Marin 70mm job.
It needs some tlc and deserves some better parts, cosmetically i would say 'rough' i.e. Chips/ scratches etc
£100 collected from WF8 west yorks or £125 posted within UK mainland only via courier - paypal gift please, please reply on here then a pm to keep things clear
Any questions feel free
Cheers
