Long time since an update on this, which is pretty much par for course when it lives in a different country. It needed a fork update and I happened across something very cheap that needed some loving:
Seen them for sale for a year or so, paid next to nothing for them. Was worried they'd be a no go and the internals would be buggered but a set of seals and wipers a re-valve and a bleed and they're great.
There is a little discolouration to one of the stanchions and a couple of minor scratches (now filled and smoothed with hard nail polish), no scoring or anything that affects them in use.
Care package ready to be sent over to Spain for it all to be fitted... stanchion guards and decals might follow at a later date. This will sit nicely next to my brothers M1 over there!
