$600 USD or best offer? I am in Portland, Oregon, USA. Looking for local or US buyer first. Failing that, I would be willing to ship most anywhere, AT BUYERS EXPENSE.

Up for sale is my 1998/1999 or so Kona Kula. This is a great hardtail with some great parts. I've put it back to the "time capsule" spec that I got it in 5 years ago. Note the green Michelin Wildgripper Lite tires! This bike was upgraded in many ways back in the late '90s. There are some finer parts from Chris King, Mavic, Cook Bros., Marzocchi, and lots of blue anodization.

The paint is nice and shiny, however it has been touched up where nicked. It's held up well, but can be noticed in spots. The fork crown had a slight crack. I just replaced it with a brand new Marzocchi crown.

a lovely bike

Just to say that most cycles look much the same and we tend to focus here on how they look. What is important is how they feel. I still mourn the loss of my Kona Kula (same year and colour as bike in this post) stolen in Cambridge UK a couple of years ago. That bike felt right. I told the police I had rather the thief had stolen my 240 BHP Saab 9-5 Aero Estate I loved the bike that much. I did not exaggerate. May the soul of the thief (and anyone dealing in parts from stolen bikes) rot in hell. Good luck with sale.
