1998 Kona Explosif Reynolds 853-new pics. of bike on page 4

always wanted to ride Reynolds 853 tubes on one of my bikes. so jumped on when this frame was for sale over here. was powder coated by pre-previous owner in a kind of light pearlescent white. some of you will remember that frame.

build will include a black SID, Thomson post and Mavic Crossmax tubeless - not sure for gruppo - XTR 950 or 960 :roll:

did fit snug, cant imagine that a 27,2 Thomson would fit anyway, but,......
my Ku had fitted a 27,2 Bontrager/Titec :roll:

80 mm of travel, maybe going to reduce to 63 mm, will see how the geometry will be. good weight

frames weight
incl. Konas seatpost binder, 4 bottle cages bolts and 2 plastic screws to close the panniers rack holes. bit on the heavy side :roll:
