Cannondale Fan
As a Cannondale fan, I couldn't help myself when a friend in the sport offered me this frameset. Even I'm more towards the aluminium and mid 90's models, the exotic construction for the time turned me on. The 1st generation lines are still close to the Super V configuration.
The Super V Raven ( 1998 ) is showing the beauty of the once so revolutionary spine and panel frame, sporting mostly grey/black components to not to distract the eye from the curves of the frame. I have built it as a comfortable trail cruiser, with slight rise titanium bars and Ti-framed Selle Flite TransAm saddle. It offers a really smooth ride on not so technical trails. The Avid V-brakes are powerful stoppers with Continental X-King and Race king tires (for real rides). For the photoshoot the bluewalled Ritcheys give a bit more modern look than skinwalls.
