1998 18" GT Psyclone, 98 SIDs & Pink King Frameset

The 1998 GT catalogue doesn't list the Psyclone I thought they stopped them in 96 ish??
And with regard to the frame material the one I have IS Columbus Tru-Temper. Not reynolds - Were there some differences with UK and US versions???

Ok, opening post you said it was Columbus 853. 853 is made by Reynolds.
now you say it's Columbus True Temper. They are two different companies and yes some builders do mix tubing when they build a frame but I don't remember GT ever doing it. Is it possibly True Temper GTX? To the best of my knowledge all Psyclone's were made at GT's Tech Shop facility in Longmont, CO and were sold in all countries with the same spec. Is your frame repainted? Decals on yous appear to be similar to the style of decal that GT used throughout their line in 1998

Hi Sorry I made a boo boo!! Should have checked first. My GT Psyclone (not the one for sale here) is TruTemper OX Gold. Not Columbus or Reynolds. Got mixed up thinking Columbus was the maker and TrutTmper was the tubing model. Hopefully kinroon's GT still has the frame sticker on with the same or similar detail.

Stunning bike, always loved it on this site

Shame my wallet is closed for big expenditure

I could offer a swap for my RTS though!!

Update: The frame is sold pending payment..

Dude  Didn't see you spilt the package?? Was waiting till you did then would have bought the frame!!! Selling my 16" cos it's too small and the 18" would be a perfect replacement.

Damn missed out again
