That’s my 1997 Trek 9800 OCLV restored and upgraded last year
Portrait
1997 Trek 9800 SHX OCLV carbon frame, size 19.5
RockShox Judy Future Shock 1-1/8” x 180mm
Cane Creek aheadset
FSA SL-K stem
FSA K-Force carbon handlebar
Trek OCLV carbon barends
FSA SL-K carbon Seatpost
Shimano alloy seatpost clamp
Prologó X-Zero CPC saddle
Shimano XTR M970 full group
XT M8000 Pedals
XTR 26” rims
Maxxis Tubeless tires Crossmark II 2.1
Zipp water bottle cage
I upgraded my 1997 OCLV carbon frame with a full Shimano 2006 M970 group and I found it was a great match. The bike is under 10Kg and rides smooth and fast. And looks good too.
First ride by February 2020. Photos by November 2022.
Thanks
