Good idea on the stem colour , it did look very black with the black bars and grips too . How about red grips ?
I like the red R/F b/b 8)

Mike

Thanks! I agree... Too much black... This frame looks good with red annodized parts or yellow accents... I still may swap the bar for a red one or a Ti one...

Thx!

Re:

Red bars maybe , do Race Face do them ? If not , maybe get some done in red and get a 2nd set of decals for them when you get the stem ones made up . Red grips as well may be a bit too much then

Thx! Yup race face makes red bars. Race face coloured bars are hard to find in full length. I had a red one but gave it to RockiMtn because it was cut short (or faded, can't remember). I'd be happy with a non-RF brand one too...

Red grips would be nice... I tried them but the frame is more of a burgandy so red doesn't match. The yellow on the frame is pure yellow so the yellow grip shift covers do go

Thx!

Re: the t.o.

Ah, she looks great. I've got one hanging on the wall waiting for me to decide which fork, wheelset, and fromt brake to use. You've set the bar high. Nice build.

Those controls look fine just like that. Please, get those Bontrager rims laced up though. The Mavics are fine, but slightly out of place on such a nice period build.

Is that a hot rod blizzard in the background? Did they come stock at some point with those white Next LP cranks on 'em?

Thanks! Yup! Just waiting on some 28h M950 hubs then they will go with the hoops... having some trouble finding 28h M950's...

Yup, it's my 96' blizzard, the crank and stem are much newer (maybe around 2001) but suit the build nicely)

thanks!

Re:

Are you alowed to have two Rocky Mountains that look that nice . Like those LUST tyres on the Blizzard !

Re: 1997 Rocky Mountain Altitude t.o.

Actually I think Shutter owns more than two Rockies that look that nice! That Summit RL for instance is a beauty!
