I'm loving that, agree that the front brake cable needs to be cut down a smidgen.

It's horses for courses with stem length/rise, depends how big (or small) the guy is whose riding it.

Thanks for the comments. I will get that cable shortened up. I tend to ride with my hands on the Gripshifts so wanted the brake levers mounted that way. Just the way I roll I guess. The forks can be de-tuned back to 65mm travel but I thought I'd see how it works with the current setup. The A-C length is longer than with the P2s that came with the Hot but it so far feels OK to me. The stem length is good for me: this will not be my crazy downhill hardtail; that will be for the Yo, which has a heavier Z2 and a rise stem/bar combo.
