Huge progress today Fitted rear brake and new tyres arrived(seems billy bonkers)are the current en vogue tyre? It was charge splashback last time I was building Was going to fit bb but i need to run die up the cup threads for drive side

Stay tuned next week I’ll maybe fit front brake

Had some time today to tinker
Fitted headset(I had one from minifreak but stack height was too much . Shout out to beyond components(eBay) £10 King lookalike with sealed bearings I won’t lie the bike won’t see much off road it will be an errand bike only so it’ll do

Actually had a stem in similar colour to the fork

Having bb issues I’ve never had/used xtr m950 crank bb. Always used middleburn on my retro build Konas. Silly money now though.

Not having much in the way of disposable cash(who has) I’m using what I’ve got lying around. Are the purple grips a step too far ? I’ve got enough grey outer for brake/gear cables Also have some new Mavic skewers. Bit modern but hey Ho.

Few more bits on she’s not in the best shape neither are most of the parts
But they all function as intended so all good

Crank was bad with heel rub so getting polished.

Loving the billy bonkers. Just need to cable up and hopefully get crank back soon.

Will set it up 1x8 as a cruiser
