Picked up this NOS M950 rear hub for about 20 GBP. Didnt really need it but hard to argue with the price.

Unsure what to do with it. The hoops on the explosif are decent but maybe not special enough for XTR ? Obviously the XT hub on there is good too. I'll probably hold onto it and think for a bit

The parts I was alluding to a week or so ago have arrived. New middle (34T) and outer (48T) chain rings. Blackspire and Raceface. Still havent found an inner but the shimano on there is okay for now

A few glamour shots. I have a set of nearly NOS M950 hubs and mavic X517 wheels being built up. After that its "finished"

New wheelset is in. M950 XTR hubs laced to Mavic x517 hoops. saphim laser spokes. Saved 300g off the stock kona/xt wheelset.

So I guess this bike is all done. I've put over 1000km on it so far this year since I picked it up in May.

Yup actually about 1200 now. I ride 4 times a week and it's pretty often this bike

Still riding this a fair amount though it's taken a bit of a back seat with the acquisition of the King Kahuna and brodie. It will still be my most used bike moving forward. New grips and I have a new headset on the way. A kona control centre to replace the lower spec impact that is on it now. The impact may move to the brodie depending on if I get a threadless or threaded fork.
