Hi everyone, thanks for jumping on this for me, iv'e been out all day and away from my phone.

I received two messages from people, one Fluffychicken, whilst out.

It IS my frame 100%. I have called South Yorkshire Police, given them all the details and I have a crim number. They have the Ebay page, this forum post detail, my personal pictures, the transactions between me and the buyer and a whole lot more.

It's now in the hands of the Police so I'd appreciate it if no one from the group messaged him about it. He'll get pinched for theft or handling stolen goods.

Fingers crossed i'll get it back, I can then pass it onto the original buyer and put a smile on his face :)

By the looks of his other sales he's been thieving from My Hermes (Or buying from an employee of theirs) for some time, look how many drone's he's selling, most of his sales are for brand new stuff and it's a proper mish mash of items.

And yes, some of you are correct, it still has the packing tape I put on it, including the polystyrene down the seat tube. I put a block of it on top of the seat tube to protect it in the box, it's obvious snapped off and got stuck down there.

Keep an eye on it, I'll update you all as and when I can.

Well i emailed the seller asking
What size and what year is the frame and i asked for serial number!
The reply was im unsure of the size and there isnt indication of it ...
All the best mate

Fingers crossed you get a good outcome and if he is selling "lost" items, the police catch him with enough stuff to make the charges more serious then if for a single item. Hopefully Herpes head office investigates and fires the pr**k. Once the police get done, maybe good to go to the local media with the story. Warning to the public and to light a fire under these companies.

What happened to people at least putting some effort into hiding the fact that they've nicked something? Hope the police will be able to sort things out for you.

My Herpes is a shower of shit
Bought some Marzocci forks from Ebay last year,
Was following the online tracking awaiting delivery
Which stated my item would be delivered that day , as the driver was in my area ...
So see my Hermes van pull up , the driver has an armful of parcels and is knocking on the house next door ...
So i go out to greet the driver , Hi you got my parcel , No he says and drives off !!
Now my neighbour is scratching his head , he has been left five large parcels , which are for an address , half a mile away !
I go back indoors check & live tracking , which now states item delivered and signed for..
The nightmare i had resolving this , After warning them of further action for theft...the forks magically re-materlalized four days later..
,We returned the five parcels to the correct address ourselfs the lady who had also been fobbed off,& was told also parcels had been signed and delivered .
Never ever had a problem with Royal Mail
Yet

Re:

I’m fairly local (20 miles) and have lots of bikes things on eBay so could start asking a few questions if you want?

But I’d do it on the other frame to avoid suspicion

Ask if you can collect an item and buy the cheapest item he's selling.

Edit, not to go round there but you wanted the address.

I wish I cold get his name and mobile number to pass onto the police.

If you buy something and request a return, ebay print you out the return address labels.
I would urge caution here. Dont turn up to discover its a den of thieves. Google earth and have a scan about.
Odd though the ebay account is an old one since 07, and a fair amount of feedback.
