I know some of you had reservations about painting instead of polishing, but I think it may have just worked

Update:

Build started;
LX mechs
DX chainset
Straight blade forks
GT seatpost
Vetta saddle

LX V brakes and levers (polished alloy to match the cranks), black GT flip-flop stem and XT M737 SPD's to be fitted.

Like those decals on that colour mate.. Punchy can't wait to see the final result. Are you going to stick with those tyres? Skins may do it a bit more justice in terms of making those forks stand out??

Surprising what a difference those decals have made to the overall look. I wasn't keen on the colour when the first pics were posted but it looks great decaled up.
Top job, good on'ya for being bold and doing something different.
