Ht2 bvs work with 68 or 73mm shells, just uses spacers so pretty universal. 104bce rings are plentiful.as have been the standard for many years now, I doubt the supply will run out any time soon.

I'm sure you could pick up a new set of cranks, as mentioned, deore and upwards are decent, as are many others from race face, FSA etc.

Used is also an option as long as you are picky and check ring condition, though you can easily replace rings. Middle is usually the one with the most wear.

I've done as you suggested. Stripped and cleaned. The chain has had a good go at the rear pivot arm but seems structurally sound.

Looks like are a lot of bearings/bushings to replace, are they all the same?

Should a bottom bearing free spin or stop turning as soon as you remove your hand? Wanting to check if it's fine or needs replacing. Likewise, should I be changing the rear or will this combination work well?
