1997 Cannondale super V downhill

Retro Newbie
Firstly hello this is my first post on the forum and maybe the last....
I bought the below bike a couple of years ago for my GF just to use on the local cycle paths around home.
Anyway we quickly realised that a hybrid would be much better for what we wanted. So the attached is no longer required

I REALLY don't know much about bikes so forgive my discriptions !

Front chain is incorrect for the bike I think, on the smaller gear the chain rubs the frame. Either a bigger gear required, removal of the smaller gear or a longer crank?

Rear disc performance is shocking. Cable operated. The cable rotates a little cup which converts the movement by 3 ball bearings sat in the cup. ( I hope that makes sense)

Rear shock needs a new bush. There is wear between the bush and bolt which gives a small click / knocking noise

Anyway - collection from Stamford, Lincs please. We are just a minute off the A1

Price £150 or very near offer. cheers

I dn't care for the rest of the parts.. But the Frame, Shock, Headset, Rear brake, Disc and seatpost all appeal.

Any chance on a split?

BTW. If you put the rear wheel on properly you wouldn't have a bad rear brake or chain issue.
