1996 Voodoo Wanga

Thats a nice buy Anthony :) I would have paid quite a bit more than that for it ;) what does it weigh out of interest :?:

p.s just been to have a look at my Hot frame and it does indeed have two little goat heads on the dropouts and a larger one just above the mech bolt hole

Ah- that explains it then! Yes looks like you got a steal with this one . Would look great with the simlar colour bomber z2's

Wow I never knew these were handmade in the states, who did actually weld this and the 96/97 hots then? My 97 hot had a strange goat-like stamp on the dropout :?
Well that is interesting, and a very nice poetic touch.

1996 and 97 Kona Hots and Kus were made by Altitude Cycles of Chico, California, a frame-building company set up by Jeff Lindsay alongside his existing Mountain Goat business, and using the same factory and welders. Hence your goat stamp, quite cool really.

The VooDoo Bizango, Wanga, Hoodoo, Bokor and Canzo were built and assembled by Altitude in Chico, while the Zobop, Erzulie and Bantu were made in Taiwan. That was up until c1999, when VooDoo went out of business for a while. When they returned c2002, all the frames were made in Taiwan.

Anthony and Its_Kirby,
just took these photos..hope it helps

Ernie ;)

Bit of a thread resurrection, but does anyone know anything about the rigid forks that came with these? Were they 410mm a to c like Konas or were these frames designed for shorter standard spinner type forks?
