I was not expecting you to say I'm right mate. I was curious is all, and assumed that they were produced in Taiwan. I have seen those posts that you mention, and have no reason not to believe them, but just wanted to understand if it actually meant made in the US or assembled and painted.
The fact that it was made in the US by a prominent facility could mean that to the right people it might be worth a lot more, because of that historical link.
