I purchased this with the intention of using it as a bike to get to work etc...but now I've been using it, I've realised it's a bit small and sadly has to go.
It's a 1996 Specialized Rockhopper. Aluminium frame with a steel fork. 21 speed. I had this advertised in the other section but I've realised it's a 1996 model, not a 1998 like I first thought.
Spec as follows:
Frame: Rockhopper A1 Aluminium 18" (C-T)
Forks: Double butted cromoly
Headset: Tioga Avenger
Stem: Zoom Competition
Handlebars: Club Roost riser
Brake Levers: Avid SD-1.9 L
Brake Calipers: Avid 1D V-Brakes
Wheels: Shimano Alivio hubs on Araya TM-820 rims
Tyres: Maxxis Ignitor 2.10"
Rear Mech: Shimano STX
Front Mech: Shimano Alivio (I think)
Shifters: Grip Shift 7-Speed
Chainset: Maxima Tracer
Cassette: Shimano
Chain: Taya
Pedals: Shimano Combi SPD/flat
Saddle: Viscount Honeycomb Titanium
It has the usual age related scuffs and chips, but no dents. The front mech is quite worn but still shifts okay and the front chainset has a little wobble too. It has different pedals to those in the pictures and is now fitted with dual sided Shimano SPD/flats. It does have a QR in the seat, just not fitted in the pictures. The cassette looks fairly new. It rides really nicely.
Price: £80 Now £60. SOLD.
Location: Ashford, Kent
Collection is preferred but I can box it up if needed.
Thanks.
