1996 Santa Cruz Tazmon build

I hear it but this my only XC bike and it needs to perform to my needs. I've been riding since 1990 and don't miss the old school angles. The setup I did have made it feel like a road bike, not aggressive enough for me. To twitchy at speed for me. Oh well. Thanks for the input

Re:

Well I almost sold my Tazmon but I just cannot do it. I love this old frame. Went back to the old Z2 forks. But put on a old Rocky seatpost and bar. Also a beefy not retro Diabolus stem and WTB saddle. Bike feels way more comfortable. Now I just need some old Race Face cranks to round it off.

Nice. Looks much better without the red seatpost. A set of Silver/black RF cranks would finish it off nicely. :)

Re:

Was able to buy a issue of Mountain Biking Dec 1995 with a review of the Tazmon. Sorry about the quality of the photos. My scanner broke. But still though someone might find this stuff interesting. When I get my new scanner I will submit to the archives.

Funny. Yellow turbine race face cranks. Just one on eBay. I like ugly I guess

Did you buy those off of me on eBay? I just sent a set out to CA.
