Not really a MTB, but not really a road bike?
Here’s a before and after of a 96 Marin Sausalito I picked up recently. Think it was the higher end steel hybrid they did in 96 so butted tubing throughout. Great graphics, lovely colour. Kind of an upsized version of their mountain bikes that I’ve always had a soft spot for.
New tyres, fenders, 1 X 8, saddle, Dia Compe 980s, and Nitto albatross bars / technomic stem.
