Who made the frames for Kona?

At this point in time it was Sandvik.

I think you'll find that it would be more accurate to say that the frames were fabricated for Kona by Titanium Sports in Kennewick, Washington.

Sandvik (now Sandvik Special Metals) were the company who produced the tubing to Kona's specification.

I think ive seen those

I really like them, simple design but well made and very powerful. Super easy to set up too but couldnt get the rear arms any further in so are sticking out further than i would like have you had them fitted? how did you set the rears up? what brake blocks did you use as that is the only thing you can change really

Got back today and decided to fit the headset. I went with the red cups as i decided to use the red wheelset i have, to keep with the build it with what i have idea, instead of waiting for parts to finish yet another build.

Also had a red post so have ended up colour matching after all :roll:

Might still put a silver headset in and silver post as im not sure if i like the red, anyway, a quick couple of pics as it stands now.

This frame is the perfect retro frame for me. Every time I ride my exlosif'96 (the 94 is under restoration) I think the same...any of my other hardtails puts that smile on my face.
