Wanted to lose the Judy XC and fit a Cannondale P bone rigid fork and change a few bits up.
Thanks to thefallguy I sourced a nice polished fork today and added some Wildgripper sprints that I had in the shed.
Swapped the headset over from an S works that I have and here’s the result.
Need to get the steerer cut down a bit and make a few more changes.

I had planned to colour match the forks but quite like the polished aluminium. What do you guys think? Paint or polish?

A pic of the lovely Caroline Alexander on her Pulse back in the day.

Nice Pulse! Was it easy to get that P-bone fork into the headset?

I'm currently trying to convert a Super Fatty with some difficulty. The steerer appears to not be fully round....the bearing race surfaces on mine create flat areas along the whole length of the steerer.

So far so good. The crown race seemed to seat just fine but I still need to cut the steerer tube down and reset the star nut before I can tighten everything up properly. Also going to try and colour match them too.

From what I understand some p bones were made with headshock suspension and some were supplied rigid on the trials type bikes. I think mine were from a rigid bike and not converted. Not sure if this changes anything fitment wise.

Nice score, tidy looking bike. I think artheco might be right, didn’t the trek Kleins (pulse) have welded on cable guides rather than the internal routing?
