1996 Klein Attitude Race for sale

Morning everyone, i have a Klein Attitude Race for sale 1996, i am the original owner and the bike still has the original Blue paint, handmade Mavic rims and Pace RC36 forks. Asking £1100 ovno. It is lovely condition for a bike this age. I am dropping the price to £850 if anyone is interested?

If it's a "Race" it's a post 1996 bike with a standard 1.1/8 inch headset and threaded bottom bracket. Nice bike, but quite different from the early Attitude.

I think the Pulse didn't have double butted tubing (not sure).
The Attitude's tubing is double butted.
The Pulse did have the pressed-in bb, which this newer Attitude doesn't.

Little bit of nostalgia here, sorry. When i bought this twenty plus years ago I went into a shop in Brentwoood after a full suspension, can't remember which one but they had sold it, i was nearly walking out of the shop and saw this near the door and fell in love with it, I rode it up the road and it rode like a dream. Wasn't keen on the wheels so had the Mavic's made for it and they gave me deal on the XTR brakes because of the other bike being sold and the deal was done.

I have a attitude race stamped 96T....not listed in the 96 Klein catalog so what gives?

So 96-98 attitudes are really pulses with attitude graphics?

No, Pulse and Attitude frames are very different. The bike for sale here is a 1997 model.
Pulse frames are made of Power Tubing which is shaped differently and has very visible welds.
Attitude frames are made of much superior and lighter Gradient Tubing and has smoothed welds.
I have an Attitude the same as above that I bought new in 1997, it was £900 frame only, much more than the Pulse at the time.
