NICE......!!

Thank you. Much appreciated ( your Delta V & Killer V is more of an inspiration though...). It's an XL size Killer V 900 in Tangerine colour with stock factory parts apart from the Manitou SX Ti fork. 1997 model frame (manufactured in June 1996) Did not have photos of the refurbish process, a bit of touching up to go especially on the fork decals. Here's a recent blurry pic of my XL 'Hummer'

SRT 800 shifters are almost mine. Just waiting for my bank to transfer the money to my paypal account. Great!
The polished dale is stunning, but I also really like the yellow one on the picture!! What year is that one, do you know?

That's great, the shifters offered looks real good & it's a NOS set too :D

The yellow one is a 2000 model . I wanted a 1996-97 badly but non offered were in my size and this happen to come along. Hope your bike build will be completed with those minty SRT 800 shifters soon & do enjoy your ride dude !

Regards

Back in 98 I almost bought a Killer Vee. I already owned a M800 Beast of the East(great for trial riding and stunting), but wanted a fully for xc riding. I had my eye on a Killervee and a Specialized FSR. I liked the looks of the Dale a little more, but went for the FSR because it felt a little better when riding it. Still really love the looks of the KV...

The SRT's will make my bike rideable again. But the more I visit this forum, the more I want to renew or restore on this bike...

Well, I guess you've made the decision then and the FSR did deliver what you wanted in the ride/ handling aspect didn't it ? :D

As for wanting to restore the old workhorse....its subjective, for most of us ...it's that feeling of nostalgia and satisfaction of putting that pre-loved bike back to good use again. ;)

regards!
