You have to wonder if the glue is any good now at that age being nearly 20 years old

It's true, they are getting on in years, but I've yet to have problems with vintage decals that use this system of a backing sheet and a protective layer, and I've spent more than I care to think about on decal sets over the years. The people I bought these off originally on eBay had quite a few sets, and several were bought and used by RBUK members over the last few years with no issues. They've been kept (like all my vintage stickers/decals) in a cool, dark place the whole time they've been in my possession.

Of course if they weren't nearly 2 decades old, they wouldn't be nearly so sought after, there's irony for you.
