Back in 2009, found this Y-22 frameset in local classifieds with low miles, spiffy new paint job and fresh pivots. Carbon front with aluminum URT, sadly without rr disc mounts. Haven't been able to find one either so just went with V. Came with the original Fox Alps4 rr shock in good working order. Gave it full Deore 9 spd setup, Rockshox Tora RL fork with extra firm coil, Hayes MX2 mech disc up front with WTB seat & WTB Velociraptor tires. A bit heavy for pushing up a lot of climbing but still nice ride for how old it is. Not sure how much action it'll be getting from now on due to the completion of the 2002 Giant NRS Pro build. Even thought of turning it into a FS single speed...............
