1995 Trek singletrack 990

So i finally found a pair of NOS tioga psycho butterscotch tires to complete my TREK 990, just as I rode it back in 1995.

That bike looks great! The tyres complement the frame taking it from a good looking bike to a stunning bike. I hope it rides as good as it looks.

Wow! I remember lusting after this one when it came out--the color was called "iced root beer." As someone who liked retro-type bikes even then, I thought it was by far the nicest bike they made that year (way more desirable than the OCLV bikes).

Looks fantastic! This was my first real mtb in 1995, and I built it frame up with orange sram grip shifts, xt drive, Bontrager wheels and grey psycho tires. As an idiot college kid I abandoned it in 2000. Started to regret that around 2008 or so and have been on the lookout ever since. Welp I finally found a 20" iced rootbeer frame on ebay for $100 and immediately pulled the trigger. Thinking of restoring and building back up.
