Thought i'd chuck a few pics up of my shiney new toy. Bigs thanks to Gadro for the frame and forks. Only niggle at the moment is that the front canti wouldn't clear the brace on the forks so I had to fit it back to front.
Shakedown test tomorrow am ;)
Well that was weeks ago, it rode ok but I wasn't happy with the fork length. It look ok but steerer like an oil tanker.
So, Gadro came to my rescue, allbeit not on purpose, with a mint set of Manitou's. She's defo a keeper now :D

Hi, Just to let you know, I bought this frame brand new with an LX groupset and built it up for my son's 10th or 11th birthday, so it's either 12 or 13 years old now. It was never abused and he only did a couple of low-key races on it. Swapped it for a GT Bravado frame off Gadro, makes you the third owner/ 2nd rider if Gadro never built it up.

Very nice frameset.

It's very similar to old Scrambler Line french bikes from the early 90" (1990 or 1991).

These bikes were riden by the Taillefer brothers

Yes, but with a "cutingsteel" fork or an upside down STM !

But I don't understand why this bike is called Merlin…
A Merlin has to be in titanium !

Merlin is a UK bikeshop that badges up its own frames/

That bike looks cool BTW, nice shapes

This would be a nice way to build a Scrambler Line replica (fake?...)

If somebody can source the same frameset...

Or a genuine Scrambler Line (not a broken one  )
