Re:

Captaincowley came to my aid and found it amongst his Aladdins cave of bike parts.

I don’t know where it came from - but yeah I’m super chuffed and it’s nice and tight so hopefully won’t fall out like all the others.

The original goes right to the edge.

Re:

Stem cap. Soft and snug.

Hi Matty,

I'm looking to buy a 1995 Marin Nail Trail, Indian Fire Trail or Team Titanium.

Please PM me if you might be willing to let one go or know of any in good condition that are for sale. My pristine 1995 Nail Trail was stolen from my parents cellar in Bath by builders in 2009. Only noticed once they were long gone... I was heartbroken. It took me a year to save up all my pennies aged 16 from a year's worth of babysitting!

Re:

Charlie

Sorry to learn about your bike, that sucks. I imagine you were heartbroken. No go from me on the 1995s and I couldn’t part with mine. It’s taken 2 years to assemble.

Suggest you try the MTB Wanted section and maybe the “show me your Marin” thread as it’s a great community on here.

If I see anything I’ll be sure to let you know.

Thanks.

OK thanks mate, and thanks for the PM - I’m not allowed to reply yet! Yes please do let me know if you see any. My first love was the Nail Trail...!

Re:

No problem. Good luck.

There are a couple of Nail Trail on gumtree but look pretty ropey. One is 1996 or 1997 and the other could be 95 but hard to tell.

Marin Team Titanium XTR

Not quite the first proper outing I was hoping for.

Took a bit of a tumble and managed to somehow sheer my right shifter.

Now in the market for new M900 shifters if anyone has one.
