it was well over 40yrs ago, it is at the end where the planes used to take off and land above the road.

Lived in Stansted when that plane was hijacked and landed there to refuel, remember all the police laying in the fields with guns

Used to live up behind the Police station too and up by the pond at the top, remember my dad driving round the grass field in his beetle with me and my brother stood on the side steps

Jeez, memories all coming back now, i came second in the county championships in high jump when i was at the junior school and also the was the school goalkeeper, both because i was taller than most others

Anyway, back to the bike, have you tried using a resizer for the pictures? and have you got any pics of the Kona's?

Since photobucket went pear-shaped for normal posting, I'm rubbish at getting anything else to work.....I think Google will be the answer for me, when I work it out......I'm an old Luddite!

I'll get a couple of pictures of the Konas when I'm down my mums and my sister's next.....

Good effort!

It won't always be like this, but I had the parts knocking about, and the urge was strong, so until I gather all the parts for a correct build, I'll ride the bejesus out of it!

Or build some 650b rim brake wheels and adapt some canti's!

I don’t care if you put it on the road with three wheels, the fact is you put it on the road! Well done for saving it. I bought a Team Marin frame to rebuild my beloved bvse which I tore the mech hanger off. Lovely frames. Always fun letting pals have a spin who splash out £2k+ on weird bendy shaped bouncy new bikes. Without exception they love it and can’t believe how fast it is. Best bikes around for the money imao
