This is my first build. It has quite a few modern parts as it is going to be used as my summer bike. In total its cost about £300 to put together. Most of the parts are used (some from Retrobike forums) to keep cost to a minimum where possible.
I intend to change the seatpost to a layback version due to the seatpost geometry (i like a nice flat seat). Maybe some thinner & lighter tyres too.
I might be able to get the weight down to 10.5kg with these changes.
Having done the calculations online the head angle has changed from 71.5 to around 70.5 degrees with the suspension fork.
I will hopefully post some pictures this weekend.
