After some drama that I posted regarding the bikes stuck seatpost and ad on eBay, the owner offered the bike to me for a price that I thought was fair. I had a good idea it was going to cost me time and effort to remove the post, but I’ve never done it and wanted the challenge.

I’ve realised after buying a few projects that I think it’s going to be easy before buying it, and then the moment I own it catastrophise about dealing with the issue . It’s self inflicted torture and procrastinate central. Hoping it not just me!!!

Have you decided which way to tackle it first? If you are stripping it down anyway, you could always post it to a seatpost specialist, if you aren't near enough to drop it in. If the repair cost was built into the price paid, you can't lose.
